Monday 26^th May – Almerimar (Shopping & Go-Karts)

After catching up on some rest we breakfasted and I started on the washing backlog again as the forecast rain had not arrived.

The deal on the car meant that we had it for 3 days so in the afternoon we headed back to the large hypermarket complex on the way to El Ejido so that Richard and Peter could try out the Go-Kart track they had seen there.  They both thoroughly enjoyed the session, tearing around in quite powerful Go-Karts.  Peter ‘won’ but admitted that he has had a lot of practice.

Of course, whilst we were there with the car, we did yet more stocking up on bulky and heavy items in Lidl and Copo – we can never resist it J
