Today we visited an out of town shopping centre on the bus to look for a new dehumidifier.  Now the weather is cooling down and getting a bit damper we decided to replace our previous dehumidifier which blew up in Lorient last year.

We found the one we wanted in a large supermarket where I also bought a few other items, making it a quite challenge getting back on the bus.

After letting it settle after the journey, we tested the dehumidifier before Richard hacked off the plug and put on a UK one.  This is easy on Pyxis as she has European sockets, being a French boat, we simply whipped out one of the adaptors we normally use and plugged in.
