Plymouth

Tuesday 24th July – Plymouth 50:21.854N 4:07.915W
Today was sunny but with a fairly strong, cold wind. A number of boats made a run for somewhere else as this is forecast to be the only fine day for the next few days – and then a number of new arrivals came in to take their place.
We had done quite a lot of prototyping for the fitting of the watermaker yesterday, working out where to put all the various bits and pieces, and so decided to stay on and start bolting things together. So Richard has spent the day cutting holes and redesigning the boat.
Karen has cleaned the fenders and printed the yacht’s name on them so that we can identify them if they ever go walkabout.
In the evening we had a pleasant drink up at the Royal Western Yacht Club (RWYC) overlooking Plymouth harbour entrance before returning for (you’ve guessed it) mackerel salad for dinner. |
