Monday 8^th December – Cagliari

Today was Brian’s birthday and it was the fairest day weather-wise of his visit.  It was hot (ok, relatively speaking) and sunny with a gentle breeze and we were all happy to have a relaxing day aboard enjoying the welcome sun.

Late morning some dolphins even appeared in the harbour to entertain us. 

This afternoon we took a short walk for some exercise – it was very quiet out as it is a bank holiday here in Sardinia so there were no shops open, the roads were empty and there was little activity around town.

This evening we went aboard Cape for pre-dinner drinks J

Later we returned for food and after dinner we enjoyed the birthday cake (well, a pineapple upside down cake) that I had made for Brian yesterday whilst they were at the football; it even came with custard J
