Ilha da Culatra

Saturday 9th February – Ilha da Culatra 36:59.917N 7:50.640W
The fair weather continues but is a bit hazy over the hills and at times on the windy side.
Once again we ran the water-maker today whilst recharging the batteries, and pleased to report that it has delivered another 45 litres into the tank J
This afternoon Richard did the short dinghy run ashore to the local store and has re-provisioned us for a few days.
I managed to get the fishing rod out again whilst Richard was away and finally managed to catch one. Unfortunately, as the Law of Sod dictates, firstly, I hooked it just as Richard arrived back with the dinghy and was wanting help back on board, and secondly it wasn’t a sea-bass L – it looked like a garfish but not sure in these waters, so having landed it we gently unhooked it and returned it to the sea to fight another day.
This evening we will watch a DVD onboard.
