Admiralty Bay, Bequia.
December 26th 2010
Sorry there has been a delay in getting these pics
on the blog. Our wifi at Carlisle Bay stopped working properly and with the time
spent clearing out of Barbados, we went by foot to the offices but all three
officials were hard to find and very slow, the passage to Bequia on the night of
the 23rd, and then relaxing eating and drinking on Christmas day this is the
first opportunity.

4 John thinks he can do better
5 Night watch off the African coast. We are the
arrow, the little triangles show big ships by AIS, some up to 200miles away
which is remarkable as this is a VHF system.
6 The first flying fish to land on
board
7 Running in light winds with boomed out cruising
chute and genoa
8 Glen guts his first fish which we have as a
starter with dinner.
9 A small flying fish lands inside the cabin. So
far more fish have landed on board than we have pulled out of the
sea.
10 Glen gutting his next two fish.
11 The genoa sheet lead over the end of the main
boom after the pole was bent.
12 Loaf of bread cooling in the galley ready for
lunch. Fresh bread was a real treat.
13 Glen taking pics of dolphins on the last
day.
14 The dolphins. there were lots of them but very
hard to photograph
15 Skipper taking pictures of Glen taking
pictures
16 Entering Bridgetown harbour.
17 getting ashore to clear in. The swell made this
much harder than it looks.
18 First cold beer ashore in Carlisle
Bay.
My thanks to John, Peter and Glen for helping
me to sail Moorglade across the Atlantic Ocean.
