Another Glorious Day in Paradise (only if you dont mind non/sliding loo seats and no paper!) only kidding, weather hotter than normal so tanning/burning nicely. Main event of the day was a sea trip for three main reasons and we were accompanied by able seaman James Ennis. Exit and reentry to berth, no problem, skipper very adept at parking a 50 foot yacht. lovely and smooth until out at sea then quite a swell on, so had to hang on. first challenge, putting up new storm sail which went well but will need to be done before storm hits, as bit fiddly and right on the bow. second test was man overboard with James' standin, a small buoy with smiley face and same name. All went well but learnt that we need to secure the boom, as it swung from side to side and meant keeping one's head down. slight rope problem, ably corrected by team effort (James included). lovely Michelle rice salad and wine from James and then more swell on way back to Las Palmas. Another big shop for fresh produce and fill diesel cans, late meal of Shepherds Pie with pork mince 'a la Ian' then bunk down. until next time at sea
