Tied up stern to at Gouvia. Connected power and water, did a couple of loads of washing. Had lunch at a good marina
restaurant. Came back and flaked the sail and organised the mousing lines for the riggers, who are scheduled to come and mouse the genoa halyard Friday morning. Contacted Sevastiana, local agent, to assist with our Greek cruising compliance doucuments. In
the evening we checked on the local Gouvia area, had a beer the Old Barrel and dinner at a good marina restaurant. Early night.
Matt and I raised the genoa, using one the spinnaker sheets, to straighten it out, then flaked it and organised the mousing lines in preparation for the riggers who ared scheduled Friday morning. I decided against attempting to mouse halyard as I had never
done it before and Matt would have been responsible for handling the winch to raise me, then lower me. He had no experience and the risk would be too great. Gouvia, with eucalypts and Norfolk pine!
