Isabelle is mortified that her father went into a fishing shop and
put his finger into his cheek to indicate that he wanted to purchase
some fish hooks. However, Bol got what he wanted after much
amusement on both sides of the counter. Harry has had 3 swims today, so that's turning blue three times, but what is so extraordinary is that before the third swim he was desperate to go in and it wasn't even hot today. Fortunately for him, it should only be getting warmer the further we go, let's hope so anyway. He absolutely loves it and was turning backward somersaults in the water like the seals in the Aquarium. Quite a good maths session this morning, and then a pleasant walk ashore after lunch around the headland to see where we came in on Monday. The swell has been reduced by the mild southerly wind and it seemed very calm and friendly out there. So we remain at anchor, watching the weather forecast and hoping that a northerly will materialise. Absolutely no wind right now and as we don't wish to motor to the next port, will stay here until there is something to fill our wings. Really delighted to receive an email from Purple Class at school today, thank you, we will compose a reply in due course. Best wishes from the crew of Thursday's Child who are enjoying emails sent to sadlertc {CHANGE TO AT} gmail {DOT} com |
