07/07/09  Back in Tahiti

On Sunday returned in time for the uncovering of the food being cooked underground.  We had a full Tahitian lunch and    everything was very tasty, if a bit smokey.

In the afternoon we sailed or rather motored back to Tahiti after the “feast.”

In Moorea we were one of two boats anchored across from Surf Lodge” I enclose a couple of snaps of the surf in action. Also we were visited  by a tiny gekko.

We have a space in Taina Marina, which is full of boats of every shape and size, has three reasonably good restaurants, is a  10 minute walk from a giant Carrefour, and  two minutes from a dive center where Demetri and I are heading  in a few minutes.
