We are back on the Boat - Having arrived in Torrevieja the 30th April we have spent the Friday cleaning up inside and checking all the final bits of work done. Our new solar panels are just fantastic - the power we are getting is more than enough for our consumption, recharging the batteries after a hard nights usuage and coping with ongoing drainage.

Saturday we toke the boat out just to check all was working - sails come out OK etc. Something of a shakedown sail, The wind was very light and the sun shone all day. Happily all went well.

Its Now Sunday - We set off from Torrevieja in very light winds - just a lovely day. We didn't plan to go far - Just to Santa Pola some 16 miles north to again be sure all is well. The wind filled in a little at about 1.00pm, allowing us to gently sail at about 3 knots.

After a very pleasant afternoon in the sun we arrived and were all tied up by 4.30pm.

Tomorrow we plan to push a little harder distance wise, up to Calpe. Then either up to Moira or Denia and accross to Ibiza
