Up early and ready for a long day again. This time 6 icebergs/bergy bits on our”square”. Again nothing, but did spot a whale diving quite close by, a minke probably
Tricky passage with many low lying islands and rocks. Wind again not in our favour so a repeat of yesterday. Really pleased with the way she’s sailing, F delighted with new rig and sail plan, yankee so much smaller than previous huge genoa, easier to handle and we have such a clear view under it. Reefs in the main sail easier to manage too.
Slightly warmer with the sun coming through occasionally, as well as good visibility, what a difference. Made such slow progress had to resort to the engine, but still arrived in the dark. Did enjoy the sky at sunset after 9pm.

An easy harbour at night, as the navigation buoy lights were very clear (and we’d been here before which makes a huge difference!)
Advantage of arriving in dark, couldn’t see all guano from seagulls roosting on our end of pontoon, which flew off in disgust at being disturbed. Hope they don’t take up residence on the decks.
