It very much looks like Trump's Trade War extends to the Trade Winds because he seems to have switched them off. Zero wind, glassy sea and all the sails rolled away. Even our featherlight, huge cruising chute was rolled away because it was just hanging like a damp handkerchief. Probably should have pressed South a bit harder yesterday because that's where the wind seems to be. Lovely moon though and clear skies. I suppose I could sit on deck and practice using the sextant. Just in case he turns off the GPS chain as well. Could always switch the engine on but that seems like cheating somehow and we want to keep our fuel until we really need it.
At least we have the Mahi Mahi steaks (notice the correct spelling this time) to look forward to for lunch.
