9 degrees and raining, on more than off. Managed to tie up the mainsail and raise it off the boom to remove the sail lazybag which got damaged when bending on the mainsail. One step forward ,two …….
Still haven’t got our kitchen stuff from the store. Have fresh coffee onboard but no cafetière. F refused to buy instant coffee in front of a French couple we’ve met, instead bought filter papers and improvised!!
A keeps checking for a slick of engine oil!
Hunkered down for the afternoon. F said it’s just like Scotland ( it was just like this the last time we were sailing there) but they’re now enjoying a heatwave.
