We departed Sneem early afternoon after the wind had eased from the strong winds overnight.

We headed for Derryname but the swell at the narrow entrance was off putting so we headed north to Valentia Island where after a swell of 4 or 5 metres we were glad to turn into Valentia Harbour where we moored at their free pontoons.
