We had no wind so we motored in flat calm, sunny conditions to Kilmore Quay. Off Carnsore  point we spotted some big white whales sitting on the surface which could have been “Beluga Whales”?

We had lots of tide- logged 41.40 miles but the pilot said 48 miles for this trip.

Safely tied up at the pontoon alongside the Irish Hydrographic Boat the crew invited us aboard to see the equipment they are using to re survey the Irish coast.......very interesting.
