Day 7 (13/7/25). Slipped mooring lines at 10:00am on low tide after checking out at the marina office. Very pleasant stay. Motor sailing initially until the southerly winds filled in. Sailed a pleasant 7 knts full main and genoa calm seas.  Rounded Cabo de Santa Maria (Faro) at 1:00pm as planned. Changed course to head to Jerez leaving Portugal to our stern and open seas. Winds veering westerly 12 knts. Dropped genoa to slow boat speed for a predicted arrival in daylight tomorrow morning. Expected northerlies later this evening / overnight.
