[cid:image004.jpg@01D34450.D2407B30] [cid:image005.jpg@01D34450.D2407B30] Too soon it is time to return to Shildon, where we had some lovely days out, just walking, while fitting in various appointments, sitting drinking tea, or gin, depending on the time of day. Mam and Dad and I met with Mark and Rosie at Ingleton Falls for a walk, I should have learned from Hamsterly, Mark Bickley's idea of not many steps.... An amazing if long walk, thoroughly enjoyed it, but would set of a little earlier next time and take a flask.
`Time is now marching along quickly and Christopher and I have an evening at Bishop Auckland Castle to see the Kynren event, https://elevenarches.org/kynren an amazing event, non-stop colour and action spectacular, a must see. About 4 hours before we were due to go to the venue we had a covering of hail stones, however the show must go on and the evening turned out cool but clear and dry, I did need the fleece blanket for around my legs though.

Too soon I am on my way to Hayleys for the last few days of my visit, joined by mam and dad it was a lovely ending to a fabulous trip, for all my friends I did get to see but didn't get photo's of, I enjoyed the G&T's, lunches and coffees, it was good to spend time with you all. For those I missed this visit, I am sorry I ran out of time but there will be other visits when we will get together and have a catch up over a cup of something. So the last few days were very special...

14th September sees Hayley driving me down the M25 to Gatwick Airport and my onward journey home to Chris and Quicksilver in Trinidad.
