Landed at Gatwick airport where I was collected by Joe for a two day visit to their home in Kent, lots of food, drink and laughs a big thank Kim and Joe, you even thought of a companion in case I was missing Chris …

   Kent to Staines and a one night stop over at the Rogers home, where the welcome as always is stupendous, lots more food and delicious ice-creams but needed to give the liver a rest ….

 Onwards On to Exmouth and a four day visit with Leslye, to see the new garden layout and appreciate the beauty of the Jurassic coast, a very relaxing visit with lots of walking, laughs and prosecco was enjoyed by both of us, making plans for next year …

Exmouth onto Cambridge where once again I enjoyed the gracious hospitality of Keith and Roger, a visit to the Horse and Hound show followed by a visit to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, even if I did send the two of them to sleep I had a wonderful two days….

And my next stop will be Shildon …
