A visit to Beamish Museum was on the agenda for  Hayley’s visit, I wish I could share the video of my mam showing a schoolyard full of all ages how to do the ‘hoop’ running up and down the yard with the metal hoop on the end of a stick, I was so proud when I heard a younger grandmother saying to her brood, “well I don’t know if I can do it as well as that lady, but let’s give it a go!!”   then off she goes down the mine with Phil,

    and a final visit to the school room.  As Hayley said to Daniel and Tia, it is good fun visiting with Nan because she knows all the stories and can remember what it was like!  A visit to Hartlepool and Seaton Carew and it was time to say goodbye for this visit.
