Monday,  31st, 2021… Some time in the evening….

( The reason I’m putting above strange notion of time— Internet communication issues.  No idea, when the message will be actually send…
So, above should help to trace the sequence… )

So, we are still on the same anchorage to Cartagena….
Yesterday, as we were sitting on my boat with friends— and their boat about few boatlength away — their local swimmers  (kids plus one adult ) — were trying to get into her….
Jumping and yelling from out place stopped them for a while… but what actually made them swim away  was the camera with telephoto lenses… So, they retreated, leaving us with some useless photos and topic to discuss….

Sometimes, I really do not understand what people are thinking about.  Ok, kids… May be the brains have not developed yet, and natural curiosity took over… But they swimed quite a distance from the well organised beach, under the leadership of adult…. Beach watchers were there, watching them too…
The strange coincidence  — a few days before, Amazon.es sent me the add of sling  with optic and laser targeting… In the add, the  person was shooting off the dead branches of the trees…. Now, watching the actual boarding of the boat… I started to think about the famous Bernard Moitissier sling, and have the second thought of Amazon add…. ;-)

Despite the above,  I  managed to restart the dinghy and the motor, we closed our boats and went to see Cartagena…
No, I have not been impressed by the city…  I know that the city has the long history… You may find some artefacts…
However, I did not see real efforts to preserved the city…
It seems as ’typical’ place, developed/ rebuild / modernised in the middle of last century… Same materials, stones, ceramic, etc… Same style…
Even old buildings are reconstructed with the same style…  modern windows, doors, etc….

Clean, nice, friendly people. That is true.  Nice place to relax — that is true…. If you are expecting some historical artefacts — no, it is not the right place…
( But I’m biased… I compare it with Italy… ;-)  where it is completely different approach for the Past…. )

Arrived  back.  Found the boats safe and secure…  Another dinner is coming… Yes, it is still the part of hard work on the boat, since we have to try and to taste the BBQ….

It seems like in the rush to be true and accurate, the weather forecasts are changing faster then the weather itself… and none is optimum to go up the coast towards Baleares…
But tomorrow another day, and hopefully, I’ll figure out something…

That is all for now.  BBQ and glasses are waiting… ;-)

Talk to you soon.
