We have made some dicent progress over the night.
Taking into account that the winds have been on the edge between light and 'no
suitable for sail' we were sailing... Thank you my friend sail
geneker! ;-)
But nothing can last forever, and the
winds disappeared completely. May be Force 1 ? So, there
is no choice, if we would like to make a progress -- we are
motoring, sails are up -- just in case, you never know...
There is no Sardinia in view already,
there is no 'continental' Italy in a view
yet... Only computer is saying that we are going in
the right direction... But the computer is also saying that
we are in the area of nearly 5-7 knots of wind, on our beam....
I wish... We would fly!
Very nice water color -- nice blue... Very
nice sky -- light blue... Sun, hot, no shadow... Nearly no shadow...
The boating routines are going on -- the batteries
are charging, the fridges are cooling, the water maker is toping
the tanks...
The sleepless night -- at some point, I
have manually stearing the boat since the wind was changing the direction
and the autopilot was not able to catch up with that... -- is taking
its tall now...
In short -- we are doing 'relaxing sailing
passage' to Italy !
Everything is fine on board.
Talk soon,
M.
