Return Plans

The Travels of Running Tide

I have to be back in UK mid June, my son is getting married in early June
so I need to be around.
I have two choices, leave RT somewhere and travel to UK returning later to
finish off. The other option would be to head back to Blighty via Bermuda and
the Azores starting early to mid May. We had three persons for the east-west
Atlantic crossing and that worked well with watches. Are any readers up for the
passage from Puerto Rico to UK, we are looking for some sailing experience
including overnight passages, there is no getting off once we have started. You
would be responsible for all your transport costs and for running costs on RT.
Timings are never good when sailing so don’t expect an accurate time table. You
could sign up for part of the journey but you may be bumped if someone will do
the whole trip. Ideal is three on board, max four.
If you are interested contact me on the mickandpatnorman email address,
preferably persons I know already or who can get a ref from some one I know. RT
is not a luxury boat, look at it as camping on water, it not always easy going.
