We had a wonderful 5 days at LHI and enjoyed many walks and even a snorkel
in the North Bay which was fantastic.

LHI Anchorage in the North Passage
We departed on the morning of the 19th May and have already spoken some
dramas experienced during our departure.
The rest of the passage was uneventful and very pleasant with a few days of
good sailing and a couple of days motoring to get us in. The trip took 5
days as expected so all very happy. Unfortunately the weather wasn't in
our favour for a stop in at Middleton Reef – if we have chosen to stay we would
have had 35kts + chasing us to Noumea.
Salty Dawg!!!
We arrived at Port Moselle marina and had all the official stuff
(Quarantine and Customs) completed by lunch.
We have already been indulging and enjoying the culinary French delights
that are on offer. We have als met up with plenty of Aussies as well as other
nationalities all parked up on A arm which has been lots of fun
As there is light wind forecast for a bit we have stocked up the boat,
given it a clean, given the engine a service and are all ready to head down to
the Southern Lagoon and Ils de Pin for some swimming and snorkelling in the 27C
water – hopefully we might catch up with Nemo.
