The heat exchanger still has not arrived so the BRM sits in the workshop waiting patiently to be completed. I am assured by the Beta agent that it was sent express post and should be here by today, so hopefully no later than tomorrow.

In the meantime, as well as fiddling about with my 12 gun brig-of-war model, I have started refurbishing the forward cockpit grates. The port side is nearing completion and looks like it is going to turn out well. The starboard grate is in better condition so my repairs will likely be less radical.

Today is wet and windy, which is probably a good thing as SA desperately needs some rain and the strong westerlies will disperse the deadly algae bloom that had established itself south of Kangaroo Island. It is indeed an ill wind that blows nobody any good.

All is well.
