It’s 01.30 on 2 July (local time - which is now GMT+9.30 hours) and we’re on our next leg. 2 island bay was beautiful – very wild and remote.  We managed a couple of walks ashore and a wallow about in the water in between rain showers – yes I did say rain!  I think we must be taking it with us.  It’s been squally all evening but it’s a full moon so in the gaps in the clouds it’s quite light.  We’ve only been going just over an hour and had to gybe twice!  Let’s hope this is it now for a while.  There’s about 20 knots of wind from the south east and we’ve got the genoa poled out on port.  It’s 280 mile to the next pitstop so hope to be there in around 40 hours.
