Contadora 08:37:33N 79:02:09W

Finally got back to Contadora after a very hectic month –
don’t think we’ve had a break since Helen left at the end of the
year! If I don’t see another shop I’ll be so happy – we
calculated we had loaded around ¾ ton of food and drink! We thought we
had everything sorted and were thinking of leaving Las Brises when things
started to go wrong – first the thermostat in the freezer went –
the day before I was due to pick up the meat I had ordered to be vacuum packed
and frozen, then the propeller on the dinghy outboard decided to pack in and the
day before we were wanting to leave to come back here, the freezer started with
another problem – whilst it was full of 8 months worth of meat! To
cut a long story short, we finally got everything sorted and had a great sail
down here yesterday. We’re hoping to have a fairly relaxing day
tomorrow – just tying up last odds and ends and then set off to the
Galapagos on Thursday – that’s the
plan……………. Here’s a test photo of Matt in the dinghy with some of our
