After a 27 hour long dreadful trip we finally arrived at the Gold Coast.  We had rain storms, strong head winds, no wind, big lumpy seas and finally the wind which was forecast on the beam for the last 6 hours!  We also found the adverse current of around 3 knots.  It’s probably the worst passage we’ve had since coming from New Zealand.  But we’re now in a quiet anchorage and the sea is flat!
