Well here we are in the Kingdom of Tonga – had a good
sail from Samoa – 347 miles in 46 hours. After a bit of a lumpy sea
for the first 18 hours or so, we’ve had relatively calm seas and good
wind so no enforced dieting! There is a regatta starting here on Saturday
so it looks as if it might be a fun place to be – lots of boats here we
know and many more on their way. From BoraBora onwards the boats tend to start
gathering in the same places on their final legs west. So apart from
island hopping through the Kingdom, we have just one more long one to go to get
down to New Zealand. But we’ll rest here for a while! Righteo bye for now – going to have some breakfast! All the best Jean & Matt |
