The new crew arrived in Nanny Cay on Sunday evening later than planned after a delayed flight, but in time for some Pain Killers and Pina Coladas to recover from their flight.They had wisely booked a room ashore at the marina to allow more time for fumigation after the previous all male crew!
We left the marina at about 1300 for short sail across to Norman Island, with Poppy and Catherine soon getting the hang of which coloured rope does what!
We secured to a buoy for lunch and snorkelling. We had planned to go ashore for a drink, but particularly strong winds in the bay were not conducive, so we stayed onboard for an excellent shrimp pasta supper, which we had just about finished when the heavens opened and the cockpit was rapidly evacuated!
On Tuesday morning we went ashore to Pirates Bight for a walk and coffee.
