After a cracking good sail into the dusk the wind reduced to about 10 knots and we motorsailed through the night arriving at 10.45 am on 2nd May in Marina del Sole at the Eastern end of the vast bay of Cagliari. Carango was given a thorough wash and brush up before we ventured into town.

Leaving S Vito lo Capo there was a stunningly beautiful dawn.

Cagliari presented some Roman and pre Roman era ruins in town.
