Seems like Ground Hog Day, all the same wind up and down, direction changes, reef 1 in and out a lot, reef 2 in and out twice, cloudy most of the time, enough brightness and bits of sunshine to charge the batteries to 100%, sleeping, eating and so on. 304nm to go.
We did have a large tanker overtake us this morning on the same course and was 0.5nm to windward. The wind did get up to 23 knots true, with only one reef in as we went through a shower when it went by and Harold was a little erratic so as to keep a steadier course hand steered for 20 minutes whilst he had a nap.
Overnight John had seen a ship go by and did not get it on AIS. This ship I had on AIS when I 1st saw it 5nm behind and it stayed on chartplotter until 8nm in front. Not sure if it is an intermmitent fault or the power reset I did between both did the trick.
Visited by dolphins at different times today who only stayed for a minute or so, the main pod must have been further away and these were youngsters out playing and exploring.
Dinner this evening will be Poulet Curry & petits legumes, more mixed vegetables, mash, cheese (not Azorean as the 3rd one seems more like a camerbert a little too soft to cut so last mature cheddar from UK), sliced bread then mixed fruit.
