Last 24 hours have been good with 14-18 knots of wind and steady direction, starting to veer now as predicted. 161nm nearer our destination in this period. Harold Snr has been performing well. In quartering seas best to have him working on heading rather than wind angle for a straighter course.
Weater wise we keep looking at forecast for last 48 hours of leg which indicates no wind so time of arrival very flexible. We have enough fuel for just another 24 hours motoring before possibility of running out. An extra 50 litres would have been great. We had 200 when we left and thought more than enough and would have jerry cans for topping up around the islands.
Today we added 30 minutes to the first 2 day watches to keep night watches in line with time of day. We are now 3 hours behind UK for time of day. When we arrive in Caribbean will adjust our time to local which will be 4 hours behind. Presently everything done on UTC.
Unable to remember any maintenance items for last 24 hours, therefore probably none.
Dinner: Chunky vegetable soup, extra carrots, cheese, baguette and madarin segments.
