Needed to find a post office to send off some post
to the girls and actually found the main post office a short distance from where
we had anchored! The situation here is Perfect and Mark is really happy because
he can have a cup of coffee in a little place opposite to where we are
moored.
Had a swim and just managed to get back to the boat
before the heavens opened up.We really had quite a downpour but on the positive
side it gave 'Rafiki" a good wash down.
27th May
Decided to have a cultural day and take in some
sights.Visisted the "Old Town" and the Fort which sits impressively above the
town.
Corfu has come as a bit of a surprise to us as we
were expecting a really touristic town with lots of English influence!!Surfice
it to say it is really quite a lovely town and relatively unspoilt varying
styles of architecture reflects its history.This was Homers
"beautiful and rich land".
