29th October.
Set off early in the hire car, we are co sharing
with Rick and Barbara, for our journey to Delphi.The route is very pretty and
follows the coat for much of the way so it also gave us the opportunity to check
out anchorages along the way.
Arrived in Delphi in good time at around 11.20am
and were able to check in early to our hotel.The village is very Alpine like and
quite touristic but not too overpowering.
After checking in we were told it was a good idea
to visit the ancient site of Delphi before the tour buses arrived in the
afternoon, so this we duly did.
