So after being collected from the beach in the
style of James Bond after spying the yacht from the good old easyjet we have
been sailing sunbathing and doing some more sunbathing!!The waters are mostly
crystal clear and apart from the odd...i mean few......actually the milions of
jellyfish, its a pleasure to just relax in the waves. We always make someone
check a few yards in front of us if any of those jellybuggers are waiting for us
and so far have been lucky not to get stung. The good thing is that we have
determined that they like to stay around 'bird island' so other areas there's
less risk of being stung.
Have been exploring the wonders of local towns and
later this week will be testing out the kite surfing and windsurfing. We will
soon be departing the Mar Menor for the Med where we will do some
diving...and probably clean the under-belly of the yacht!
Jimmy Cliff is playing on the beach of Thomas
Maestro on thursday, so after picking up Dan we will go along and have a
boogie.
