We anchored and headed ashore, the airport is a short walk from the dinghy docks, it is very small, one small building with no one there, we did see two men standing by a plane and were able to chat to them through the fencing to ascertain that the building was the airport, all it said on it was Hurricane shelter! That sorted, it was back to the local bar for a drink and sit down, it's the first time we have had beverages ashore since Freddie arrived!

Like at Staniel cay there are a fair few Nurse sharks and rays that patrol, hang out around the docks hoping for an easy meal, we were treated to this Albino nurse shark swimming by.

 

The following day it was time for Freddie to leave, of course the wind was up so Steve dropped me at the shore first then got Freddie and his luggage and we set off for the airport.

We had to wait a while for anyone to turn up, eventually a very nice lady came and once Freddie was settled we headed back to the boat.

His plane was tiny as well, it was almost like a private plane as there were only 4 people on board including the pilot!
