The following day was peaceful with virtually no wind, as we headed out of the cut early and up towards Rudder Cay freddie put the rod out again hoping for a catch, it was a couple of hours before we were heading into Rudder cut without catching anything   and made our way into the anchorage.
There were only 2 other boats when we arrived, everyone had left a few days ago to find shelter from the west wind which this anchorage is totally exposed to, it did mean that there was lots of  room and we chose a spot near a cave I remember snorkelling to in 2013. Soon we had the dinghy and kayak launched and Freddie was off fishing on the kayak while we went for a snorkel and saw a good number of fish and a few turtles, one let us float nearby for a while as it grazed on the seagrass below, we then headed back to Innamorata  to do some underwater hull cleaning - it's disappointing to see how quickly we are getting growth on the new copper coat but it does come off quite easily, and we were delighted to have a nurse shark swim under us a couple of times.
This time Freddie had more luck he caught a Barracuda, a couple of Bar Jacks, a school master and a small Grouper, all of which he let go again.
He didn't see any Bonefish though but was pleased he had had some success.
