Thu 5 Jan 2006 20:37
Saltwhistle Bay, Mayreau,
January 2006.
We finally left Bequia and
moved two hours south to Mayreau. On the way we caught a yellow fin tuna,
which we are going to barbecue tonight. Here is Chris with his
catch.

The next day: Tobago
Cays.
Well, the tuna was really
great, and the good news is that we only managed to eat half of it so will eat
the rest tonight. We have just spent the day snorkeling off the
reefs of Tobago Cays. Chris said,'We did it Soph! Sailed all the way
here from Bristol!' as we crept into one of the most idyllic
anchorages. It does feel as though we have arrived in an amazingly
beautiful part of the world. One is spoilt for choice in beautiful
places to visit. It is Steve's last day, as he is off on the
mailboat for St. Vincent, and then on to Tobago to go surfing for a week,( then
he has to get home to go skiing...)
Steve says: 'Sad to be
leaving the boat but looking forward to
Tobago'

We are now zipping over to
Canouan to meet Regina in Charlestown Bay for the
evening.
