The past day we have been accompanied by birds, swiftly gliding around as we approach the Azores.

Dolphins have become regular visitors 😊

Partly cloudy day with a gentle 7-11kn of wind, Water is calm with a small swell rolling in from behind.

The crew have all commented on the number of debris we have seen out in the ocean, quite sad to see.

Our ETA to the marina in Horta is about 18:30 Local time.

Will be taking the evening off and stretching our legs ending with a cold beer !

Our stop won’t be too long, either departing again tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday or Thursday – Weather depending.

Will look at the weather this evening and schedule our departure.

Been a really good first passage, loads of sea life, a new moon which was great for star gazing and very calm conditions 😊

The land is on the horizon and I’m sending this post with cell phone reception, not long to go now, about 32Nm.
