Lunch stop at Bloody Marys restaurant.....  ....and the favoured drink, a Bloody Mary.   The names of 'famous people' who have visited Bloody Marys. No doubt
our names will now be
added! An amazing and diverse list which included Dorothy Lamour,
Raquel Welch, Charlton Heston
and Dudley Moore and well as various well known politicians!  We went around the top of the island to spend a few days in the south east
corner of the island. Many
of the resorts are on this side, on islands along the reef.
 Anchored in 5 metres over sand. An excellent spot for cleaning all
the accumulted weed from the
hull.
 Ray feeding on the reef....
 ...was hijacked by 20 or so reef sharks.

 We took a long dinghy trip around the south end of the island, which is too
shallow to take a yacht....
  ....stopping for lunch at a beach side snack bar.
 A ray swimming along at the edge of the water.
   A traditional canoe with a sail up, a rare sight.
 Unfortunately, time moves on and with great reluctance we have to leave
French Polynesia and head
for the Cook Islands and Tonga
