Most jobs are now done on board, and the gas problem overcome.  Our plan it to tidy the boat up tomorrow, and go for a test sail. 

 

Fiona rode to the rescue again and, having helped us with the big provisioning shop 2 days ago, did the perishables shop with us this evening – as well as providing transport (and a decent chat too) for the trip.  Almost all the food is on board now. 

 

Departure depends on the outcome of the test sail, but is looking closer. 

 

It has been a lovely day here in Halifax with blue skies and plenty of sun, albeit with a sharp wind.
