This was the first waterspout we saw. A fair distance away and we thought a good photo opportunity
This one formed a little way a way but was large
It then came a bit closer and we are thinking which way is it going and which way should we go.
Taken with the zoom lens you can see the funnel and the water that is being sucked up.
So much energy
And another touches down
A long skinny one.
They came in all shapes and sizes
We were hailed by Dani & Jens as we came in to Placencia and caught up with them for drinks and some yummy coconut prawns at the Tranquilo Bar, new restaurant on the island next to the anchorage. They left to take some friends to Caye Caulker the next day but we are hoping to catch up with them again before we head back to the Rio Dulce.
