Very little wind and in the wrong direction again, so we are motoring on a direct course for the Galapagos. We have decided to call in briefly to refuel as we have used a lot more diesel than expected due to the amount of motoring we have had to do. At our current speed of 4 to 4.5 knots, we hope to be there by Friday our time. The entry fees double if you arrive on the weekend. It has been a very quiet day with everyone catching up on sleep & reading. No fish again today or long liners, although Nigel & Miss Kitty had to do a detour around a fleet of them last night. The moon is waxing so the night time sea is beginning to be bathed in moonlight, which is lovely, but very difficult to photograph with the movement of the boat. We are all going well and the boys are finally giving us a fight during our evening games of Sequence.
Current heading 240 deg: COG of 232 deg: 363nm from Galapagos & 435nm from Panama City (although we have done a lot more than this with our tacking backwards and forwards over the past 5 days).
