We continued motoring down the sound for another hour or two and are now
tied up snugly in Torshavn and have cleared customs etc. Torshavn is buzzing
with young people sitting in cafes etc, rather akin to the Ny Havn in Copenhagen
– the Faeroes are really part of Denmark and it shows.
It’s now late evening and the promised gale has not arrived – not even a
zephyr – but nonetheless the current plan is to stay here until early Friday
