The last few days have kept me busy with umpteen items being achieved.  Today I have spent on the upper deck, bending on the 135 genoa, and the cutter jib.  All shackles are now moused, furling gears lubricated, and genoa cars re-rigged (they had always been back to front in my opinion).  In addition, the deck level rigging fittings have all been checked and moused etc - nothing untoward found, I'm pleased to say.

Another major milestone achieved is the fitting of the new spray dodger.  It looks very smart, and should protect us nicely.  It also matches the new mainsail cover!  The new sun awning has also arrived, and has been trialled - fits perfectly, as does the wheel cover.  And to cap it all, cockpit winch covers - thank you Pippa for these as my birthday present (but you have'nt seen the bill yet!).  Picture does not really do it all justice.

Planning to go for a trial sail on Saturday - Dave and Cat Prentice and family have kindly agreed to crew.  Wind is forecast to be a bit light, but better that than the other way round at this stage!  And on Sunday, Sarah arrives!  That will be a major milestone..............
