I still cant get over the amount of lightning we had last night. Thought it would never stop. Eventually stopped about 7am. Overall i think we lost out on 12 hours, just from running away from the lightning.

Usually we do about 150nm a day but yesterday only done about 73nm just from the amount of change in direction we had to do.

The rest of the day was really calm, next to no wind at one point. Just bobbing along with an engine on.

Again it is 7pm and the weather has turned again. Fork lightning again, right in front of us. So for the mean time, where we were heading West towards the caribbean we have turned around and now heading more East back towards Africa! The forks are so impressive. Again not as enjoyable in a boat as it would be on land.

Will this lightning ever stop and give us a break, so we can actually head in the correct direction.

Our estimated days to get to the British Virgin Islands was 10 days, i wonder what it will be tomorrow after heading in the wrong direction.

Were is the sunshine?? I want tanning time not running away from lightning ha!!
