We went here to clear out on the way north. Guadaloupe is in fact 2 islands joined by a number of bridges. The cruising guide reckons you have to under 6.7m wide to get through. We are 6.7 m wide so we thought we might take a look. We forgot the camera but have to report that there seemed to be a good margin for the accurate navigator! The marina lady thought it was 7.8m wide. We thought so too however since the bridge only opens at 0500 each day we decided to press on round the east coast of Guadaloupe towards St Francois.
