A flying visit.  Arrived in time for the crew to see the Indian River before the beach BBQ, followed by a horse trek along country tracks the following morning.  Lucy (an experienced rider) returned for a bareback ride on the beach.

 

Proceeds from the BBQ go to the Portsmouth Services Association which was founded to raise standards among the local tour guides and improve security.  In these aims it has been fairly successful and although the guides compete strongly to gain business, they remain polite and helpful.
