Things are going well for us here in Darwin these days. After having seen the doctor, our first priority was to get the chainplate-parts off -and welded. We were waiting for a berth in a marina, but decided we would just do it here in the anchorage if weather was calm. This morning was good. Jorn loosened all the shrouds, got the pieces off and secured the rig. Fellow cruisers knew a local who we were meeting in the yacht club at nine. He knew a good welder -and a few hours later the job was done, the pieces was delivered to Jorn on the beach and he could get the rigging mounted again. It is really good to have this done and now we don't have to go into a marina :) Tomorrow we're going to check our forestay and headsail -and go to the fruit- and vegetable market. All well.
